How to measure a table for a table cover
A cover that fits well looks professional; a wrong size either drags on the floor or leaves the legs showing. Measure these four things on the table you will actually use.
- Length of the tabletop (the long side).
- Width (the short side).
- Height from the floor to the tabletop.
- Drop you want: floor-length, or a shorter drop that stops a few inches above the floor.
Most trade-show tables are 4, 6 or 8 feet long, and standard tables are about 30 inches high. Tables vary, so measure rather than assume — especially for rounded corners or folding tables with thick edges.
Which style?
A throw drapes loosely and covers three or four sides. A fitted cover is cut to the table shape. A stretch cover hugs the table and gives the largest print area. If you want your logo on the front, a three-sided cover leaves the back open for storage underneath.
