Trade show booth sizes: 10x10, 10x20 and what fits
Most trade shows sell space in standard blocks, and the block you rent determines what you can bring.
10×10 ft
The most common size. It fits a backdrop or tension fabric display, a table with a printed cover and a couple of banner stands. Keep the display low enough for the show's height rule, which is often lower on the sides than at the back.
10×20 ft
Two 10×10 spaces side by side give room for a larger backdrop, a demo area and a meeting table. Plan traffic flow so visitors can walk in.
Planning your booth
- Check the exhibitor manual for height limits and electrical rules.
- Put your logo and main message at eye level and above — most visitors see the top half first.
- Use a printed table cover for a clean front and storage underneath.
- Allow shipping time: show deadlines are strict.
Tension fabric backdrops come in widths such as 8, 10 and 20 ft to match common booth fronts. Pick the width to match your space and add counters or banners as needed.
